Submit a Script

To add a script to the Tcl Archive, upload the script file below then complete the form on the page that follows. Before doing so, please take note of the following:

• Some submissions may be rejected, usually due to small things like not including a version number in the script. Please click here to view the reasons why a script may not be added to the archive.
• Don't submit a script you haven't tested. I'd suggest not making last-minute changes and saying "yeah, that looks okay" without retesting :-)
• The archive is updated a couple of times each week. If your script didn't make it in the latest update, it is probably in my queue and will be added a few days later. You can cancel existing submisions and submit updated versions in the meantime if required.
• If you need to submit a corrected or fixed version of a script that I've already added, change the version number so that people who've already downloaded it know there's an updated version.
• Finally, if you are releasing a modified version of another person's script, seek permission from them first and give appropriate credit!

You can also submit scripts directly via e-mail, which may be more efficient in some cases (e.g. when submitting a large batch of scripts).
